Harthal Lightrage from Lorderon Its a devoted and faithful paladin of 24 years old currently serving the Scarlet Crusade with extreme loyalty and fervor to the organization and Its leader, but unlike many other paladins he appears to favor violent and brutal tendencies in battle, combined with his headstrong behavior and his radical believes of human supremacy and the light, he can be problematic for other races who are near to him. He has come to Icecrown to seek vengeance and retribution for all he has lost in his life including the conversion of both his father and younger brother into death knights of the Scourge .Now full of rage on his heart; he will not rest until he is powerful enough to vanquish all trace of evil in Icecrown.

Beginings[]

Harthal was born in Vandemar village in Lorderon as the son of the village’s Duke Vergil Stampert who was a retired Marshall of the Alliance who fought on the second war. He had a good childhood and looked at his father with pride as he was always listening to his father’s tales and teachings. Inspired by the tales of Uther the Lighbringer, he decided to become a paladin and fight for a world of peace, just after he was sent to Stratholme to begin his training, his mother died after giving birth to his younger brother Balian, because of this we would promes himself to lookout for him.
Years later, during the undead outbreak , Harthal heard about the plagued grains that were distributed among the villages and left Stratholme to warn his father and save his home, he just left the city 2 days before Arthas decided to purge It, His way back home was very dangerous as was starting to find many undead and cultist along the way,he would spend various months before reaching his home.

When he finally arrived at Vandemar, the village was already being raided by the now villainous prince Arthas and his hordes of undead. He saw many zombies and other undead killing the people as the same people started to resurrect as undead, he fought his way to his father's mansion only to find It covered with blood with

his father and younger brother missing. after leaving his now destroyed home he started to get a great hate for the undead nad Arthas as he started to lose his faith in the light because of Arthas transformation ,he wandered around the plaguelands by himself for weeks trying to survive by himself as he was searching for his family, he soon heard that the town of Tyr's hand's garrison was able to hold back the undead and prepared to form a resistance movement against the undead, hungry for vengeance he didn't think It twice to go there and join them.

with the sole objective to free the plaguelands from the scourge in the name of the light, after he joined the order and soon became a scarlet captain, he was one of the many paladins to serve under Hightlord Mogranie himself ,he started to admire the paladin as well as his merciless and brutal behavior for the undead, he will adopt most if not all of his believes and attitude believing that purification was the right way to bring down all the evil of Azertoh, he was very fanatic and loyal to the Ashbringer and the crusade as he started to see him like a role model and was heartbroken when he knew about his demise.Under the fanatic and brutal traning of the crusade,he completed his paladin traning without losing his conection to the light like other scarlet paladins because of his strong bealive that his actions very for the good of humanity,He started to read a holy red book that was lokec away on the library,he started to study It and learn Its secrets about the light and how to used It aganist evil in order to build up his own sthrength.He soon discovered the secrets to become a stronger curader of light by using a phorbiden way .

to lose gorund,Harthal was losing aganist an abomination when he used that phorbiden secret to turn the tides of the battle,in a desperate manner he took out the book as he took covered near a small house as he started to read the final page of the book ,consumed by rage and hatred for the enemy, his heavy blade started to be surrounded wiht a glowing aura of gold light like flames of holy light,he emerged from the house and found out that he was stronger as well that all of his paladin abilites were enhanced and with gold flames of light ,comsumed by rage and desire for battle and win at all costs he easely started to overpower the abomination as the creatures started to be consumed by the gold light in pain,he casted multiple exorcism and consacrations to weaken the creature but after being using his new blessing for just 5 minutes the state dissapeared and reverted back to normal as well as all of his mana as he collapsed on the ground completly exausted just as he was about to give It the hit of grace because of not beeing an epic paladin with enought experiance to fully master that kind of power ,his body was not able to resist,he was quickly carried away back to Tyr's hand by his fellow crusaders.

The next day, Harthal awoke in a bed inside the infirmary of Tyr's hand, a young priestess with a beautiful blond hair was at his side on a chair, Harthal saw her and It was the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. She greeted him with kindness telling him that he would be find in some weeks and that his effort created a victory for the crusade ,she told him that the High General had ordered to see him as soon as he is full recovered. At first he was enthusiasm thinking that he might be promoted but soon he realized that she might ask him how he did what he did and that she will find out about the book. He took the decision t copy the book with a mirror and burn the original so that It can look like an ordinary book to the eyes of the others. After a month in the infirmary ,he recovered his strength completely and he reported to the high general herself, she greeted him as a hero of the crusade and to his surprise, she didn’t made any questions about how he did the blessing on the battle, she concluded by telling him that she would transfer him to the town of Harvershire in the Scarlet Enclave.2 days later while Harthal was training with his unit before going to the enclave, a currier arrived caring a letter to him ,he started to read It and he was shocked to see that the writer was in fact is missing brother Balian,he said that their father sacrificed himself to let him escape from Vandemar village

r and that he had also joined the crusade in New Hearhtglem and that he thought him dead until he heard about his heroic exploit a few days ago. After reading such letter, Harthal dropped tears for a moment now knowing that his brother was save and fighting for the same cause, he quickly answered his letter telling him about his life and that he would use his rank as captain to arrange his transfer to his unit so they can be together, he also sent a copy of the book to him so he can get stronger too. Harthal was too happy and his pride and morale rose to the skies ,thinking that he would be invincible with his brother at his side, his dream soon turned into delusion when he received his brother’s answer telling him that he deserted after killing his brothers who ordered him to kill an innocent farmer accused of heresy, he told him of their corruption and urged him to escape but Harthal simply burned the letter in rage thinking that his brother has become corrupted and that he was a traitor to the light, Harthal has embraced the zeal of the crusade with so much fervor that he was not able to see their corruption. He would never forgive him for this apparent betrayal to the crusade and to himself,over the passing days,He continued to fight the undead while training at the same time on the enclave as one of the High general’s

He became more cold and aggressive feeling rage for his brother's betrayal but he still cared for him because of his promise to his father, he was one of the few chosen to be part of "The Scarlet Dawn" ,Annbedis's special cadre .He took part in the defense of the enclave when Acherus arrived with Its army, he wanted to stay and fight to the end with the other crusaders that were not chosen with so much fervor that his men knocked him out in order to force him to get inside the ship and escape just moments before the undead overran the port, he would felt guilty to be alive while many others were left behind to die.

He arrived with the rest of the crusaders and he felt very depressed and disillusioned when Anbeddis proclaimed that they were now the Scarlet Onslaught. Harthal was ordered to train some crusaders while the base was under construction; he was very septic about the mysterious arrival of the admiral. Over the passing of the days, Harthal became worried about the future of the crusade after seeing the mass conversion of the priests into raven priests. He soon confronted Lagrend about the situation but he ordered Harthal's own men to arrest him for charges of heresy and and treason, he was chained inside of a cell beneath the barracks awaiting torture and execution, during that time in jail he realized that his brother's warning was in fact true .However,things changed when suddenly New Hearthghlem was been invaded by none other than High inquisitor Anbeddis and her own crusade. Harthal was released by Withemane's forces once they have conquered the entire compound for themselves and he was greeted by her holiness with kindness, after that moment he swore that he would fight for her new crusade. Eager to prove himself to his new leader ,Harthal continued to train hard day and night on New Hearthglem ,we was soon asked by her holiness seeing leadership skills in him, she tasked him to recruit more crusaders for their cause which he did with a lot of effort and dedication, During that time he missed his former rank and he desired to have a leading position in the future and become the top paladin of General Alejandro himself ,he also be friended the new recruits Malorian,Samela,Drago ,Liszt and Thymoty Orion which the last 2 would become his spiritual mentor and student respectively. After Withemane established a base camp in Icecrown ,Harthal was more than ready to go there.

They day came when brother Liszt lead the crusaders on their way to their new base in the cliffs of Icecrown near the Iron wall dam, He soon realized the political situation of the crusade with the rest of the factions in the region, despite his believes that humans are the supreme race, he decided to tolerate the other factions and their members on behalf of General Alejandro knowing all the effort that he had put to improve their relations. During the war ,Harthal would use all his inner force to tolerate the ones that he considered 'Infidels¨ to the point that he even contained himself of killing Cody for insulting Whitemane or even the Forsaken of the Horde and Salen's knights all because of a greater good, Harthal soon saw action when he helped the allied forces to fight on Mor'rethar ,the first death gate on their way to the citadel, he fought bravely on the broken front providing cavalry support for the argent crusade ,because of this, he was promoted by Withemane herself to be one of her knights, he also assisted to the offensive meeting with her and helped her rally all the scarlet forces to their camp in order to get ready for the attack of the next day. Before going back to sleep he was visited by his long time banished brother Balian who was now an alliance soldier and was soon joining the Argent Vanguard,their reencounter was very tense because both of them felt betrayed from the other (Balian for leaving Harthal and Harthal for staying and didn't accompanied him).they soon parted ways but Harthal would always keep his promes in secret from his brother for he don’t like to show his feelings among others.

his brothers and sisters but It had also called Arthas's attention on him,he opted to stay awake all the night and drink some cofee in the morning.

After being full of cock ,Harthal rode to the battle but he was intercepted on his way by a mysterious death knight mounted on his deahtcharger and accompanied by 4 boneguard captains, the deahtknight sent them to assault Harthal who defeated them using his personal blessing on his weapon and he challenged the deahtknight to duel him ,however Harthal become soon horrified when his enemy revealed his identity as Vergil, his long dead father who has been corrupted into a deathknight of the scourge to attempt to turn Harthal into darkness, Harthal didn't hesitate twice to attack him now that he was an undead ,he charged at Vergil in full force but Vergil being a deahtknight stayed calmed and easily over powered Harthal, he was about to kill his son but he left sparing his life in order to make him realize that he was still weak and to break his faith in the light and left him injured outside in the snow. Harthal used his remeaning strenght to go to the pinnacle and received help, his life was saved by the orc shamans Draga and Morgorath who listened to his tale about his encounter with Virgin and he offered his assistance to the paladin in his new quest to purify his evil father, at first Harthal passed him in a cold manner when after insisting he answered that he 'could do what he wanted', unknown and unlikely to Harthal It was the start of a friendship with the orc shaman.

Morgorath had joined the Argent Vanguard and he woudl start to trsut in the orc so strong that he would ask him to look out for his younger brother for him who was also part of the vanguard.One day Harthal went to the pinnacle to train again with Morgoraht but the orc was to silent at him and he warned him that he had to be ready for the news that he had for him,he told him that the last night his brother was slain at the gate in Mor'rethar by the now Deahtknight know as Rowan the fallen. Morgorath tried to save Harthals brother but he was too late as Morgorath watched the body be taken away by Rowan. Morgorath was filled with sadness. Harthal was compeltly shocked at this revelation,he fell complete depresion and hatred at the same time,he let lose his anger by hiting the orc multiple times until he calmed himslef and Harthal gave him his thanks and asked him to help him not only purify his father but also his brother but Morgoraht told him that he could set them free from the Scourge with his powers over the elements but Harthal would hate the vanguard and Matheew forever thinking that they didn't give a damn for his brother and sacrficed himself

Harthal appeared in time along with the Alliance and the Argents to save Violet point from the Scourge,he soon realized that his father was leading them and he found his dead body on the floor ,full of rage of not beeing able to kill him in time he demanded to know who stole his quest and he realized that It was Lancy,a champion of the vanguard who bullied his brother,he would start to hate her just as has his brother hated her in life.A few days later he ecountered Rowan ,his brother's killer and confronted him,he was completely in rage ready to kill him .However, Rowan on the other hand he was calm to him as he was now part of the Ebon Blade and he told him that his brother could be freed like him and that he had no chooice as he was beeing controlled by Arthas.Harthal was still enraged and threatened his life in many occasion not caring for his excuse, Harthal spent most of his time at the Scarlet Camp training and also receiving teachings from Morgorath. He desired to become the strongest paladin of the Scarlet crusade and be right hand of General Alejandro himself.

participate in the name of the crusade, during that time he also became the lover of Samela Marval who was also a fellow crusader, she was very insecure at first but she told him that she would think about being with him. When he arrived at the tournament grounds, he received training from Crusader Malashenko, one of the most fearsome paladins of the crusade, she saw his headstrong and rage fit for be her student, she taught him how to fight better however Harthal exceeded expectations and overpowered during a sparring match witch hurted her pride over herself. Seeing his potential, she told him that she will convert him into a weapon of retribution and she would teach him the path to become a paladin avatar, something that she was not able to accomplish because of her extreme rage. The day came when Harthal knew from his friend Morgorath that his brother Balian was defeated at the Sige of the Shadow Vault and his remains were those to a pile of bones like garbage, this enraged him to the core and demanded to know who killed his brother ,Morgoraht told him that It was the night elf druid Maforis,Harthal didn't attacked him but he threatened him and gave him a taunting glare just like he did with Rowan every time he saw him on the tournament, he wanted to kill them both for vengeance but he felt no evil in them .Feeling troubled he decided to find a peaceful place to meditate and clear the clouds of his soul and mind, he decided to go on 'Exile' as a pilgrim to be alone with the light.

Harthal now wearing crimson robes traveled all the way back to Tyr's Hand ,he went to the chapel and meditated there alone for days to clear his mind and emotions, after been exhausted he felt that his faith has increased, he felt completely in peace with his soul after getting to the conclusion that nothing that he can do now can change anything from the past and that feeling hatred or rage for others who aren't the enemy would make him feel pain and that he ned to control his emotions, he even decided to put to rest the memories of the

past and think about the future, when he left Tyr's Hand, he was a different man, he was now more wise and calmed instead of headstrong as well as his increased faith in the light and peace that increased his light spells’ power.
When he returned to the tournament, he was a different man, he now called himself The Scarlet Watcher, he was present at the tournament watching other matches silently and preparing himself for the tournament. Before the tournament's beginning ,he trained one last time with Malashenko and she told him that he might be able to achieve the holy form because of his self controlled emotions and his new calmed behavior.
Brothers on The Ice[]

After the tournament,the time to invade the citadel had come ,the allied forces attacked the gates,Harthal was with the other crusaders but he soon found himself shooked to see none other than his brother Balian raised again by the Scourge to fight for them onece again,he ordered his fellow crusaders to go ahead without of him af he had some unfinished buisnnes to attend with his brother.they fougth at the gates of the citadel exchanging blows between them for a time until Harthal was caught by Balian's toxic runblade Gore mourne that started to decompose his armor and skin causing him great pain,knowing that he was about to be defeated,he decided to take his brother along with him ,he taunted him knowing that he was too reckless as a blood deathknight.Balian charged towards him and Harhal hugged him saying that he loved him and that he would save him fulfiling his promes to his parents years ago,he grabed him and casted a powerfull consacration that vaporized Balian in holy flames leaving only ashes around Harthal.He was soudn found by Whithemane herself and she helaled him from the acid of Goremourne so he can continue with the others to face Arthas himself.

He felt enraged to see how Arthas easily killed the champions one by one that he exited the barrier to fight him and he was easily knocked out far away next to Tirion Fordring who was frozen unable to move. He standed up next to Mathwee Brokenhill and he asked Harthal's aid to free Tirion before Arthas wiped out all the strike force but they were both killed along with the others by the fury of Forstmourne before they could free him. He aided Tirion and the others when he was resurrected by Terenas and keep 3 shards of the shattered Ashbringer for himself as a memento of his deared hero Alexandrous Mograine.I found hard to believe that the Scourge was defeated forever and he returned back to the plaguelands along with the Scarlet Crusade with his soul in peace and his rage gone forever.
Prelude to Cataclyms[]

After mourning the fallen ones during the war in Nothrend,all heroes and factions returned to the their respective homes including Harthal and the crusade, Harthal continued to serve the crusade, killing the scourge remnants and all kind of undead and securing new places to be occupy by the crusade. At first he felt that at last Lorderon would be rebuilt as the Crusade was able to stop Balnazzar who was summoned by Zakaroth and retake the majority of Stratholme in a titanic battle in which he participated but he started to distrust and even despised the High inquisitor after The Argents Claimed that Renault murdered his father and he was being protected by Whitemane. The time passed and the without warning, the High Inqusitor and The General left the crusade, Harthal lost faith in them and saw

them as cowards who ran when they were in trouble after losing both the monastery and Heartglem to the forsaken and the Argent Dawn respectively. These sudden events motivated Harthal to leave the plaguelands along with some of the crusaders to travel to Stormwind to rebuild the Crusade by recruiting more people there to their cause.
During this time, the infite crisis had come to the city in which Harthal foguht his own double called Harthal Deahtrage who was a deaht knight of the Scourge who came from an alternate world in wich Balian survived but Harthal was murdered and trnasformed into a Scourge Commander instead, he was about to slain Arthas and become the Lich King to conquer the world when he was transported to the real world just when he was about to strike him down,Harthal was horified as he saw him as his faiht If he would have been turned by the Lich King instead of his brother and father,Deathrage asked him about the location of the Lich King of his world as he wanted to find and destroy the current one beliving that Bolvar would be easier to defeat than Arthas but he was defeated along with the other doubles.
A vision fo the Light[]

It has been a long time scines the last time that he fought against the undead in the name of the light, Harthal has been trouboled scines the lose of the Scarlet lands, he has felt guilty for their hard time as he was not able to acomplish victory for the crusade, he felt abandoned wihtout the guidance of the general and Whitemane who were not seen by Harthal at all scines their disappearance, he felt that he was not the paladin that he was meant to be as he was not able to save or purge his father and brother in northrend,he felt that he had just failed again and that the forsaken's mad bid for conquest cannot be stoped.He seeked the light for answers, and meditated prayed over entire days at the chapel alone as his devotion and faith in the light had not changed but his faith on himself. One night while he was praying in sileance,the light granted him a vision.
He saw himself alone surrounded by some forsaken in a unknow city and he was disarmed,he standed up quickly and looked to his side and saw a unique weapon that
Harthal killing hordes of undead in Stratholme inside of his vision.

The next day, Harthal arrived to the cathedral to begin his training with The Paladin leader the Church, but he was not able to find him, he searched for him feeling that the crisis of the silver hand was not over yet, he approached to sir Arthur the Faith about his whereabouts and he said that he was too busy right now trying to find a new leader for the chapel to be training a paladin, Arthur saw his eyes of concern and he asked him why he wanted to see him so much. Harthal told him that he ned to recover his faith on himself as the felt that he has failed to complete his duties as a paladin, Arthur told him that he could aid him If he seeked guidance. Arthur told him that he would need to confront his inner demons on his soul in order to free his soul from his worries and become a true paladin, he took him beneath the chapel and told him to sit and close his eyes concentrate in what troubled him while Arthur grabbed his head with some holy energy on his hands to comfort him.
Harthal found himself inside of his sub consciousness, he was in Icecrown in the snow again and he saw..his deceased brother Balian Purehearth who fought and died for the Argent Crusade, his brother told him that he has failed, he taunted him and tormented him that he failed his promes to look out for him, he said that It was his fault to what happened to him, Balian was suddenly surrounded by blue fire that consumed him and transformed him to an undead death knight with red armor like he was after rowan killed him and trained him to serve Arthas as Balian Bloodsaw.
He taunted his brother about how he failed to protect him from rowan, he blamed him of his fate and he told him that he also failed to purge him as he was killed by a druid and not by his brother as well as to avenge him because Harthal did not kill Rowan. Harthal was tormented and sad at first but he them embraced him and told him that I felt sorry for him but lamenting himself for ever would not bring him back and he did all he could and that he will be forever in his heart. Harthal felt that a part of him was in peace and that he had one lees weight on his soul, he awakened in front of Arthur and he told him what happened, Arthur said that It was only the beginning ,he saw Althalos on his back, Harthal’s new weapon and asked him If he was a retribution paladin which he said that It was his specialty but he knew only the basic of other aspects of the light, Athur told him that the weapon is not important as the paladin that uses It and that he could teach him more about other aspects of the light such as protection ,Harthal accepted his offer .Arthur would spend the following weeks on extensive periods of meditation, prayers and training Harthal in new blessings as well as other aspects of protection and how to support others in battle.
The Test of Fear[]
After training with Arthur for many days and almost reaching a certain degree of skill in protection, Arthur praised

Harthal for his progress and asked him how much he knew about the holy aspects of a paladin,Harthal answered in shame that he has a few knowledge, Arthur was amazed to heard It and he told him to seek Katherine the Pure who is a holy type paladin. Harthal approached to her following Arthur’s advice and he told her that Arthur urged him to seek her instruction, she was amazed to hear that a paladin like him had poor knowledge of that path, he agreed to teach him what she knew and she started his training by making him read amounts of books about healing and charity, after that she started to train him to improve his healing abilities with the argument that Its mandatory for a paladin to be ready to heal not only Its allies on the field but also the poor and the helpless people, she also told him to go and do some social work in the medical bay at the church and try to help the people around the city,Harthal felt a bit uncomfortable as he was not used to that kind of work apart from being on the field but she encourage him that he will not be disappointed.
He spent his free times in his training with Katherine helping the sick and wounded with dedication, he soon started to feel that he was really making the difference as well as the happiness that he gave to the people and how they gave their thanks to the light for sent him, he even took the decision to pay a visit to the orphans, he felt strange being surrounded by children instead of the enemy but he make them had nice day by telling them stories and speaking about the light and hope to them, they smiled at him as he felt that his faith in the light was growing and that he felt a satisfaction that he never felt before. From that day on, he decided that he would not only focus on defeating the enemies of the light but to take care and help the helpless people however, he still felt distress about his past and seek the guidance of Katherine and she told him to focus on what troubled him as she grabbed his head with her hands with some holy energy on then. He concentrated as he closed his eyes and soon found himself back. In Vandemar village his former home, he walked around the ruined streets heading to his home and he saw his father Virgil Greathearth Duke of Vandemar ,he saw him and he told his son how weak he was and how let his own emotions controlled him, he taunted him and tormented him how he defeated him in Icecrown and that no matter how hard he tried, he and the light would never prevail.

Harthal soon meet Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker eager to be trained by him after he heard from the Ripley the truth about Renault and Whitemane,Grayson told him that he heard great things about him from Arthur, he told him in joke that he thought that his armor was a shiny red one and Harthal replied to him that It was destroyed by the acid of a creature during the crisis of the chapel and that this is only an old armor that he got as a replacement until he can find an armor of a better quality. Grayson decided to test his abilities before beginning and challenged him to a fight with the single rule of only sue retributio techniques, during the fight, Grayson taunted Harthal by asking him use his best move against him and Harthal casted a destructive consecration round him, his signature move, but Grayson avoided the damage, he saw the crater that was produced by his consecration and he told him that It was not a real consecration and that he would show him a real consecration, he casted consecration too but his was much more powerful and destructive and has a bigger radius, It created a much bigger crater and Harthal was forced to cast consecration again to minimize the damage that he was about to take as It was too big to avoid It, Harthal had low mana but continued to avoid his attacks, Grayson decided to use his signature move, he concentrated for a moment as the light shinned around him giving him a holy form, a powerful state that enhanced all of his abilities ,Harthal attack him in a battle cry charging against him in rage as he was losing and he was still intact ,Harthal was swimming his sword at him viciously but Grayson in his holy form simply cached the sharped edge of the mighty blade like If It were a stick, he them shooted a lightshock at his hands to disarm him ,Harthal was forced to leave Althalos to avoid the damage and he was forced to take distance, Grayson charged at him and Harthal was ready gathering his remaining energy to cast a hammer of justice to stun him and attack him however, Grayson in his holy form was too fast for him and just as he approached him ,Grayson easily grabbed him from his face and bashed him away with great force making him crush with a tree ,Grayson exited his holy from and helped him stand up and gave him water to rest, he told Harthal that he was strong but he attack in rage and that his attacks were not focused. Harthal replied him that he tends to feel rage in battle and enjoy being on the field, Grayson told him that he would need to focus that rage of his and not let It blind his concentration, he then said that he thinks that he has great potential in retribution as he has learn the medium techniques, Grayson grabbed his head with some light energy and told him to concentrate of what made him feel rage. Harthal closed his eyes and he soon found himself in front of Aldu’thar The Horror Gate the place where his brother made his last stand, just as he walked towards the Gate, It opened and from It emerged the deathknight Rowan,Harthal as enraged to see him and the charged at him, Rowan easily dodged him as he taunted him how he allowed himself to be taken by rage and vengeance ,Harthal started to see him directly to his eyes as he reflected no evil, he remembered his brother and the other deahtkngiths that rebelled against Arthas and how they aided them despite that the others didn’t like them, he remembered his desire to help his brother to break free from Arthas just like Rowan did, he soon realized that rowan fought to atone for his past actions, he lay down his weapon and remained silent and he pronounced low tone “I..f.f.forgive you”. He awoke and with no rage in his hearth, he felt that nothing else was baring his way from being a true paladin, Grayson decided to train him in advanced and deadly techniques from there on, he told him that he would push him beyond his limits, on the following days Harthal learned from him advanced techniques to use the light in an offensive way, Grayson soon saw how Harthal started to catch his level and how he learned from him, he praised him as a prodigy of the path of retribution as he trained fro It scines the beginning of his life as a paladin, Grayson saw him as his best student and decided to put him under a hard and strict training regiment that will test his body and mind, during the following days ,Harthal endured multiple sparing matches, hard exercises and meditations, he would start to accumulate many cracks around his armor and scars on his body, Grayson also decided to teach him holy form in order to test his faith and dedication.

The Days passed,Harthal was trying to endure the training of Lord Grayson, he made him complete hard exercises with Althalos so he can use It with his light energy and made hIt a true weapon of the light ,Harthal endured despite the difficulty of his training as he trained for many hours with Little time to rest, many paladin would have given up from the beginning but Harthal persisted, Grayson saw his dedication and resistance as he taught him advanced techniques of retribution while improving what he already knew.
Harthal concentrated to domain everything that Grayson taught him, once Harthal mastered all the techniques of Grayson; he decided to test Harthal for the last time by fighting him. The 2 paladins fought in a forest and they gave everything they got, It lasted 4 hours, they were evenly matched countering the blows of the other, during the final phase, both of them were tired and with few mana, they used holy form in a final clash with all they had left, as they clashed Althalos shinned with holy energy and was able to cut off the head of the Hammer of Grayson with holy energy around the edge making It like a razor and Harthal’s cracked armor was completely shattered by Grason’s punch, both of the collapsed on the floor on the ruined battlefield wich had many trees broken and 4 large crates of the same side ending the fight in a draw, both

Polictical Opinion[]
Harthal is wingly to cooperate with the other factions and races as long as they share the same goal and as long as he is ordered to work with them by his leaders but he woudl turn on the infidels If he is ordered to do so.

He shares many traits and believes of Mograine because of his admiration to him, he still is his role model, he has a violent nature and he would not hesitate to destroy any enemies of the light, he do not like to heard bad talk about the crusade or Its leaders, he would obey only a ranking member of the crusade otherwise he will do as he please. Unlike many paladins he enjoys war and the carnage of combat, he can even taste the pleasure of killing hundreds of undead, he believes that the humans are the most powerful race and that other races can’t be trusted however It appears that Morgoraht is the exception to the rule. Although he believes that his brother is a traitor to the light, he really cares for him despite the fact that he would not admit It in public .Being alone for a long time and after losing all he loved he no longer express his feelings or emotions, he would like to find a woman who can enable him to let go his suffering for all he has endured. He do not like to reactive aid from other races or factions unless he really needs It, he can still feel compassion and care for others If he sees them in danger or If he thinks that they deserve his help thanks to the guidance of Liszt he is starting to understand that the duty of a paladin is not only vanquish evil but also save and protect the innocent. He is full of pride for himself and the crusade, he obeys whitemane to the letter without question believing her to be the messenger of the light and the general who is like a father figure to him, he believes that the crusade are the true chosen of the light and that Its full of good intentions for the world, he has complete faith in the crusade and Its leaders.
